Application Deadline for State Grants at Anhalt International University Extended

Applicants in Kazakhstan have received an additional opportunity to apply for a state educational grant at Anhalt International University. The document submission deadline has been extended until August 10, 2026, as reported by Modern Education magazine with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

State educational grants are available for two study programs:

• Electrical Engineering and Information Technology

• Biomedical Engineering

All instruction is conducted entirely in English by faculty members from Germany. Students also study German as part of the curriculum.

After the first year, students can take advantage of free academic mobility and have the option to continue their studies at the main campus of Hochschule Anhalt in Germany.

Requirements for Participation in the Grant Competition:

• UNT Score: A minimum score of 70 points on the Unified National Testing (UNT) with subject combinations in Mathematics & Physics.

• English Language Proficiency:

  • IELTS: 5.5 or higher

  • TOEFL: 69 or higher

  • OR pass the internal English proficiency exam conducted by Anhalt International University.
