Kindergarten achievement – an indicator of quality education

A good kindergarten today is not a "storage room" for children while parents are at work, but a genuine academy of early development. Every day in our kindergarten a miracle happens — our pupils step by step come to know the world, achieving their first victories. The success of a kindergarten is not limited to the educational process alone; it also manifests itself through the unlocking of children's creative and intellectual abilities and the professional development of teachers. Every achievement is the result of the team's work. And the most accurate assessment of our work is not reports, but real certificates, cups and, most importantly, the shining eyes of the little ones.

Teachers Are the Main Heroes

Behind every successful child stands the titanic work of a teacher. In our kindergarten, this rule works 100%. One of the main indicators of a kindergarten's success is the professional mastery of its teachers. We are proud that our staff do not simply "sit with children," but constantly grow themselves. In recent years, educators and specialists have been participating in various competitions and achieving high results. Teacher-assistant Yermekbayeva Eleonora Yerkasymovna took the prize III place in the city competition "Best Teacher-Assistant." Her result is proof of professional competence and effective methods of working with children. Of particular significance is the achievement of our psychologist Berdimuratova Akmaral Suleimenovna. She entered the top three at the city competition of psychologists (III place), showing that the quality of the psychological service in the kindergarten is at a high level. The work of a psychologist directly influences the emotional development of children and the psychological climate — this is the foundation on which everything else is built: both learning and friendship.

The Finest Hour of the Pupils

The successes of the pupils are the result of systematic work. Children's achievements in various competitions and contests are a concrete indicator of the quality of education in the kindergarten.

Logical thinking. The Kazakh game "Mangala" is not just entertainment, but an ancient brain trainer. Pupil Beksultan Sapargali masterfully commands the strategy and took II place in the city tournament, and in the game "Bestemshe" (another pearl of national culture) he became the winner! Pupil Karatai Zhanaiym also proved her mastery in the national game "Bestemshe" and took II place. Another pupil, Kabdrash Adina, managed to demonstrate her abilities in the city competition in the national games "Sauleli tastar" and took the prize III place.

In the district intellectual competition "Zvezdny Put" ("Star Path"), II place was taken.

Family creativity. In the competition of handmade products "A Skillful Father, a Talented Mother, a Hardworking Child," the kindergarten's pupils took III place, demonstrating a high level of family creativity.

Safety above all. Our little ones know the traffic rules better than some adults! At the city traffic rules competition, they won the Grand Prix. This is a serious bid to be literate pedestrians. Work in this direction makes a great contribution to ensuring the safety of children in everyday life.

Creativity without borders. One of the important directions of the kindergarten's success is the implementation of innovative projects. We have a particular pride — the multistudio project "Boundless World" (Sheksiz Alem). It was created for children with special educational needs. Here real magic happens — through drawing and animation, children learn to express themselves. Quite recently, our young talent Arystan Makhmud took II place in the "Magic of Drawing" category. His mentor, Aidarova Korkem Zhunuskhanovna, invested great effort in unlocking the child's creative abilities. This achievement is the result of a close connection between teacher and pupil, and it proves that talent does not depend on a diagnosis — it is only important to extend a helping hand in time.

Among other achievements — in the "Theater of Fairy Tales" competition, pupils prepared by the music director took II place.

"BEFORE" and "AFTER" Analysis

The success of Kindergarten No. 66 "Tolagai" is not a happy accident. Our kindergarten carries out systematic work. Conditions have been created for the professional development of teachers. Educators organize learning activities taking into account the interests of children, close ties with parents have been established, and innovative methods and projects are being introduced. Through group and individual work, the communication skills of pupils are improved and their activity is increased. National games contribute to the development of the creative and intellectual abilities of pupils. Participation in such games develops children's logical thinking, attention and resourcefulness.

Problems "BEFORE." What were we working with? The results of observations and diagnostics showed that the majority of pupils had insufficient coherent speech skills; low interest in creative tasks; instability of logical thinking and attention; weak activity when working in a group; children with special educational needs exhibited communication barriers and lack of confidence.

What did we do? We included national games in learning activities and together with the children began to play smart games ("Mangala," "Bestemshe"); the children participated in stage productions in the "Theater of Fairy Tales"; the educational psychologist conducted correctional and developmental sessions, and parents helped with creative projects.

Successes "AFTER." Pupils developed coherent speech skills, and the children began to express their thoughts freely; the ability for logical thinking improved, and they showed high results in intellectual games; group work skills were formed and the culture of relationships improved; the social adaptation of children with special educational needs improved, and their self-confidence increased.

Effectiveness. In the course of applying these methods, children's passivity and withdrawn behavior decreased; difficulties in speech and communication skills diminished; interest in learning activities increased; and it became possible to reveal the individual abilities of each child.

Every victory, whether it is a certificate or simply a button fastened independently for the first time, is a step into a great future. We are confident: when a kindergarten works as a single mechanism, where national traditions are loved and innovations are introduced, true citizens of their country grow up.
